A lot of free QR code generators end up slapping a small watermark in the corner, or only let you download after signing up for an account. QR Code Generator on MEA Tools isn't like that — the result comes out clean right away, and the entire creation process happens in your own browser, never sent to any server.

Open QR Code Generator →Steps to create a QR code
- Open tools.meaecosystem.com/qr-generator.
- Type the text or URL you want to turn into a QR code into the field provided.
- If you'd like, change the dot color and background color to match your taste or brand colors.
- Choose an error-correction level — the higher the level, the more resistant the QR code is to small damage (scratches, folds), but the denser the data becomes.
- If you want to add a logo in the center, upload the image. It's recommended to use the "Highest (H)" error-correction level so the logo doesn't make the QR code fail to scan.
- Click download, and your QR code is ready to use.
Why does the error-correction level matter when using a logo?
A QR code has a built-in ability to stay readable even if part of it is covered or damaged — that's what error correction does. The higher the level, the larger the portion of the QR code that can "go missing" without causing a failed scan. The logo you place in the center essentially covers part of the data, so for a smooth read, use the highest level (H) and don't make the logo too large.
Make sure it actually scans before you use it
Before printing a QR code on a banner, business card, or any other medium you've already produced in bulk, scan it with your phone first to confirm it really leads to the intended link or text — especially if you're using a logo or colors with low contrast between the dots and the background.
Frequently asked questions
Is the data I enter sent to a server?
No. The QR code is created directly in your browser. The text or link you enter never leaves your device.
Does this QR code last forever?
Yes, as long as its content is static text or a URL. A QR code is just a way of encoding that data into an image — there's no expiration or intermediary server that could go down.
Why does my QR code fail to scan after adding a logo?
The logo might be too large, or the error-correction level you chose is too low. Try again with the "Highest (H)" level and shrink the logo size.
What can it be used for?
Anything that can be represented as text — website links, WiFi credentials, phone numbers, addresses, and more.
